Satan Project
This project started spontaneously over a year ago. The devil is a favorite subject of mine and so one day I made this simple model of a stylized devil head. It was one of the first successful implementations of edge loops in one of my models. Satisfied with this model I have continued to work with it and develop more and more elaborate textures, revisions of the model, and as can be seen above a full rig of the body. Actually, the body was an afterthought, but has become an integral part of the model. It has just been an ongoing exploration for the purpose of learning and refining my skill.
Concurrently I have been working on improving Space Dog. Soon the two will meet upon a distant planet, at the overturning of a monumental trashcan. In other words they will be animated. This animation will use the motion capture data I obtained at the SIGGRAPH 2004 Conference courtesy of "PhaseSpace Systems" who generously provided their mocap rig for free access in the "Guerilla Studio" at SIGGRAPH 2004. Soon I will post the documentation of the motion capture and its implementation in the animation.
